This role supports the execution of a model-informed experimental plan by developing CFD and fluidized bed reactor models to investigate fluidization behavior and optimize operating conditions. The position involves instrumenting experimental rigs to acquire hydrodynamic and thermal profiles and conducting parametric studies. It also requires closing the loop between CFD predictions and pilot-scale experiments.
