University of Birmingham
The Research Fellow in Biogeochemistry will assess how nutrient variation and drought influence immunised and non-immunised oak seedlings under various treatments, including nutrient regimes, soil water stress, and elevated CO2. The role involves monitoring nutrient cycling, enzyme activity, and plant tissue ratios to evaluate the adaptive capacity of long-lived trees. The fellow will plan and conduct research, analyze data, and contribute to manuscript preparation and funding bids within the IMPULSA project.
A world top 100 university and part of the prestigious Russell Group, the University of Birmingham makes important things happen.
