Research Fellow

The Neurobiology Research Programme at the Life Sciences Institute is seeking a Research Fellow to lead a research programme investigating the molecular mechanisms of motor neuron disease, with a focus on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). The role involves examining the intersection between genomic instability and dysregulated RNA metabolism, and dissecting how altered RNA processing contributes to neurodegenerative vulnerability. The successful candidate will oversee complex experimental platforms, integrate experimental and computational datasets, and contribute to teaching and grant applications.
