This role focuses on understanding and optimizing deep brain stimulation (DBS-f) as a treatment for Alzheimer's disease by leveraging a custom-built research platform. The position involves conducting complex experiments with large-scale recordings and microstimulation in behaving primates to elucidate circuit-level mechanisms of memory and learning. The role also includes collaborating with clinicians, mentoring junior staff, and presenting findings at international conferences to advance translational applications.
