Research Scientist, Asst.

The Research Scientist, Asst. will conduct and support research at the intersection of elk behavioral ecology and human recreation, utilizing extensive GPS and trail counter data to advance understanding of human-elk interactions. The role involves leading research projects, publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals, and mentoring graduate students to inform future recreation development and wildlife conservation. This position is based on-campus in Laramie, Wyoming, and requires expertise in animal movement modeling and spatial data analysis.
