Research Scientist I

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a highly motivated, independent full-time postdoctoral researcher to investigate neural circuits underlying vulnerability and resilience to stress using in vivo brain imaging techniques in rodent models. The role involves conducting experiments with mouse models of social stress and early life adversity, utilizing circuit tracing, optogenetic, and chemogenetic techniques. The position requires analyzing in vivo imaging data and contributing to project development, scientific presentations, and peer-reviewed publications.
