About this role

The Research Scientist will join the Wikimedia Foundation Research team to conduct applied research on the integrity of Wikipedia’s knowledge, its communities, and the resilience of the Wikipedia model. This remote role requires collaboration across time zones and with interdisciplinary teams, public dissemination of research, and occasional participation in incident response and travel. The position reports to the Applied Science Manager and is expected to start by April 2026.
