The Rosenberg Lab in the Department of Neuroscience is seeking a Research Specialist to support studies on how the brain uses visual information to guide goal‑directed actions. The role involves caring for research animals, preparing samples, maintaining laboratory operations, supervising staff and students, and conducting experiments under established protocols.

Responsibilities

Perform animal surgical procedures and care under IACUC protocols
Prepare and process tissue samples for histology and imaging
Maintain laboratory inventory, order reagents, and ensure biosafety compliance
Supervise and train students and staff in lab procedures
Conduct research experiments and analyze data for reporting
