About this role

A Researcher II/III in EMT Modeling, Simulation and Analysis at NREL will support R&D to advance electromagnetic-transient (EMT) modeling and simulation technologies for the modern power grid. The role contributes to developing next-generation EMT simulators and analysis tools to study stability, reliability, and resilience as the grid integrates more inverter-based resources. The position is part of an interdisciplinary team working across power systems, controls, and software development at NREL's Power Systems and Engineering Center.
