About this role

The Residence Hall Director (RHD) is a 12-month, live-in role within Cornell’s Office of Housing and Residential Life focused on fostering a high-quality residential experience for undergraduate students. The position supports student development, belonging, and social responsibility through collaboration with campus partners and engagement with residential communities. The RHD oversees a residence community ranging from 60–600 students and works closely with student leaders and faculty-in-residence to support learning and transition.
