Volunteers of America – Greater New York is a nonprofit social services agency that provides housing, behavioral health care, substance use treatment, and supportive services across the New York metropolitan area. It operates affordable and supportive housing, emergency and transitional shelters, programs for veterans and people returning from incarceration, senior services, and workforce and youth programs to help people achieve stability and independence. VOA-GNY serves low-income individuals and families, people experiencing homelessness, veterans, seniors, and those with mental health or substance use needs, combining clinical care with case management and community-based supports. The organization also partners with government and community stakeholders to expand access to services and promote long-term housing and economic solutions.
