About this role

The Resource and Transmission Planning Supervisor is a key player in developing the strategic direction for LES’ resource plan and transmission planning needs. In this role, you and your team will be responsible for the long-range planning for acquisition and optimization of LES’ power supply resources. Your team will also create the annual power cost budget and manage the integrated resource plan process. Your team will also be responsible for completing and reporting on transmission studies to ensure the reliability of LES’s transmission system. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders, regulatory bodies, the Southwest Power Pool, and other external partners to evaluate generation and transmission projects, optimize resources, and support strategic decision-making.
