About this role

This role provides respiratory care treatment, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support to in-patients and out-patients across all age groups. The position involves setting up, monitoring, and weaning oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation while performing diagnostic procedures like arterial blood gas analysis and EKGs. The Respiratory Therapist-CRT delivers therapies as ordered by physicians and educates patients and colleagues on treatment plans.

Responsibilities

Draw, analyze, and report arterial blood gases and EKGs
Deliver intermittent therapy and assist with changing artificial airways
