Respiratory Therapist

This role provides specialized care for the cardiac and respiratory needs of patients across all age groups, from birth to geriatric, according to physician orders and departmental policies. The position involves administering breathing treatments, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation while performing essential testing modalities like EKGs and arterial blood gases. The Respiratory Therapist is also responsible for patient education, equipment maintenance, and conducting regular patient assessments to ensure optimal care.
