Respiratory Therapist

Under the supervision of a physician, this role directs and supervises respiratory care services to restore patient pulmonary function and support life. The position involves planning and administering medically prescribed respiratory therapy, conducting pulmonary function tests, and determining treatment plans in consultation with physicians. The role also includes directing treatments given by aides and technicians, evaluating patient progress, and ensuring continuity of care through discharge planning and home exercise programs.
