Restorative Practices Specialist

This role provides training, support, and direct assistance to students and families using the restorative practices model to improve the student's learning experience within Metro Nashville Public Schools. The specialist serves on the School Leadership team, coordinates student re-entry from discipline, and facilitates short-term interventions in Restorative Centers to resolve harm and restore relationships. The position also involves developing classroom support for social-emotional learning, collecting data to evaluate program efficacy, and serving as a spokesperson for restorative justice practices.
