About this role

This role involves a Licensed Pharmacist providing efficient and safe medication services at a retail site pharmacy within the Geisinger Centralized Logistics & Materials Distribution Center. Responsibilities include interpreting prescriptions, ensuring patient safety, counseling physicians and patients, and supervising pharmacy technicians. The pharmacist assumes overall responsibility for the pharmacy operations while collaborating with clinical personnel to resolve therapeutic issues.

Responsibilities

Interpret prescriptions and determine necessary medication adjustments for patient safety
Fill and dispense medications accurately while counseling physicians and patients
Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure accuracy of their work outputs
