The Revenue & CDM Optimization Liaison ensures the integrity of the Charge Description Master and charge capture processes by providing leadership on billing requirements and compliance. This role coordinates changes across information systems, works with clinical departments to enhance revenue collection, and ensures codes comply with Medicare and payer guidelines.

Responsibilities

Maintain and audit the Charge Description Master for coding accuracy and compliance
Coordinate charge capture processes with clinical departments and providers
Ensure CDM codes comply with Medicare and third-party payer guidelines
Analyze financial documentation and prepare special reports for management
Provide education on correct charge capture and billing procedures
