About this role
The Registered Nurse on 6 North at Forbes Hospital provides preoperative and postoperative care for general surgical patients in a 43-bed inpatient surgical med-surg unit. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care and is fully responsible and accountable for the quality of care delivered. The role supports interdisciplinary collaboration within a Level II trauma hospital and emphasizes patient-centered care, professional development, and adherence to legal and privacy standards.
