About this role
The LVAD Coordinator at Wellstar supports the Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) program by collaborating with cardiac nursing leadership and advanced heart failure clinicians to develop program processes and manage clinical care. The role focuses on coordinating candidate evaluations, facilitating discharge planning, and providing patient and caregiver education and follow-up for pre- and post-implant LVAD patients. The coordinator also serves as a clinical resource and consultant within the health system and the LVAD community.
