The Cardiothoracic Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to cardiothoracic and perioperative patients, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care across the lifespan. The RN works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, engages patients and families in care, and adheres to specialty and organizational standards. The role reports to the Director or Nurse Manager and may include supervision of unlicensed personnel.
