RN II

The RN II provides safe, cost-effective patient care within the Welcome Baby Department at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center, conducting prenatal and postpartum visits in home, community, or virtual settings. The role involves partnering with expectant and new families to deliver health assessments, education, and early identification of risk factors to promote maternal, infant, and family well-being. The nurse utilizes evidence-based screening tools to identify health concerns and facilitates referrals to community resources while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
