The Registered Nurse (RN) 2 provides nursing care for a population-specific group of patients, managing simple to complex multi-system issues across the lifespan in a safe, therapeutic environment. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care while collaborating with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams and adhering to organizational and specialty standards. The RN reports to the Director or Nurse Manager and may supervise licensed nursing assistants and unlicensed personnel.
