Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License
Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA (within 3 months of hire)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA (within 1 year for those performing conscious sedation)
Membership in ONS or APHON (if pediatric) (within 3 months)
Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certificate Course (for Medical Oncology RNs within 1 year)
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) (obtain within 3.5 years for Medical Oncology RNs performing treatments)
Radiation Therapy Certificate Course (for Radiation Oncology RNs within 2 years)
Minimum 12 Oncology-related Continuing Nursing Education Hours Annually
Apheresis RNs: 12 continuing education hours annually in cellular therapy/apheresis/quality management
