About this role
A Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse provides step-down inpatient care for patients who require more monitoring than a medical/surgical unit but do not need ICU-level care. The role focuses on telemetry monitoring and management of post-cardiac procedure and cardiac-condition patients (e.g., post-stent, post-cath, MI, CHF, pacemaker). The position is based in a 20-bed PCU and involves 12-hour shifts with weekend requirements.
