About this role
The Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse provides leadership to the patient care team and cares for patients in the immediate post-anesthesia period. The role focuses on age-specific assessments, formulation of individualized plans of care, and coordination of patient transitions and education. This position is part of SSM Health’s surgical services and supports safe recovery following anesthesia.

Qualifications
- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS HCP) - AHA
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) - AHA
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - AAP
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA
