About this role

The Registered Nurse Resident position provides a transition between nursing school and bedside nursing in an acute care setting, offering a comprehensive residency program to acquire knowledge and skills for safe, quality care. Residents receive classroom instruction, skills labs, and mentoring under the supervision of an experienced RN Preceptor. After completing the residency, nurses will have the opportunity to apply for available Full-Time RN positions within the health system.

Responsibilities

Provide safe and quality patient care under RN preceptor supervision
Participate in residency program including didactic, skills lab, and clinical shifts
Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate nursing actions
