A Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) at ThedaCare delivers trauma-informed forensic and medical care to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, strangulation, and child abuse who present to the emergency department. The role is part of a 24/7 on-call SANE program focused on coordinated clinical and forensic care to support patient health and the legal process.
