About this role
A Staff Nurse on the Solid Organ Transplant Unit (SOTU) at Nebraska Medicine provides nursing care for adult pre- and post-transplant patients across medical, surgical, telemetry, and progressive care. The 36-bed unit supports liver, kidney, pancreas, intestinal and islet cell transplant patients and hosts the Intestinal Rehab Program. The role serves a complex, international patient population and offers growth through unit teamwork and transplant education.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Registered Nurse License (Nebraska or Compact)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) (Preferred)
