RN, VAD Coordinator (TMC)

The VAD Coordinator is a designated member of the heart transplant and VAD team, responsible for coordinating clinical care from evaluation through post-procedure for patients requiring ventricular assist devices or heart transplants. The role involves solving complex clinical problems, communicating with medical staff, and developing policies to improve patient care. The coordinator also collaborates with transplant coordinators and provides education and support to patients and families throughout their treatment journey.
