This role provides direct clinical patient care, assuming responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients on a per-shift and unit level. The RN directs care according to established safety and quality standards, coordinating patient care within prescribed medical regimes to ensure optimal discharge outcomes. The position also involves supervising staff, supporting the CNO in maintaining high-quality nursing care, and fulfilling hospital incident command system responsibilities during emergencies.
