Road Maintenance Technician

Under the direction of the Road Department Director, this role performs routine and complex mechanical tasks to maintain heavy equipment used for transportation and construction of County roads. The position requires operating construction/maintenance equipment, applying mechanical skills to maintain diesel and gasoline engines, and ensuring all equipment and tools are kept in good working order. This is a safety-sensitive position that involves diagnosing repairs, performing preventative maintenance, and adhering to high quality standards.
