About this role

A Remote Operations Control Center (ROCC) Operator ensures the safe and reliable 24/7 monitoring of Repsol's renewable generation assets across the US from a Houston-based facility. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, external stakeholders like RTOs and ISOs, and managing communications to maintain grid reliability according to NERC standards. Operators will troubleshoot alarms, generate work orders, and handle emergency procedures while adhering to strict safety protocols during all operational phases.

Responsibilities

Monitor real-time renewable asset operations to ensure grid safety and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve alarms and faults using enterprise SCADA systems
Coordinate with field personnel and external RTOs during operational anomalies
Manage work orders and documentation for plant activities and traceability
Execute emergency response procedures and manual grid override instructions
