About this role
The RSD Associate is a national protection role based in Kuala Lumpur within UNHCR’s Refugee Status Determination (RSD) unit. The post is a Local ICA-6 (UNOPS) position contributing to the Office’s refugee protection mandate and engagement with government counterparts. The role requires fluency in English and Malay and is offered until 31 December 2026 with possible extension.
