Crusoe is seeking a Safety Engineer to serve as a subject matter expert embedded within engineering and manufacturing teams, ensuring electrical, machine, and process safety are integrated into modular buildings and power distribution equipment. The role involves conducting hazard analyses, reviewing technical designs for compliance with standards like NFPA 70E, and collaborating cross-functionally to mitigate risks from design through field deployment.

Responsibilities

Serve as safety representative on design teams reviewing 3D models and specifications
Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments using FMEA and FTA methods
Ensure designs comply with safety codes such as OSHA and NFPA 70E
Develop and maintain safety documentation including hazard logs and compliance reports
Partner with engineering teams to integrate safety requirements throughout the product lifecycle
