Safety, Fleet, and Asset Coordinator

The Safety, Fleet, and Asset Coordinator is a hands-on, non-supervisory role within the Chatham County Public Works Department responsible for spearheading safety training, compliance programs, and fleet maintenance coordination. This position ensures the safe and efficient operation of equipment across multiple divisions while serving as the lead investigator for work-related accidents and departmental injuries. The role actively assists with CDL compliance and commercial driver drug and alcohol testing programs to maintain regulatory adherence.
