About this role
The Safety Sitter provides continuous, direct observation of patients who require monitoring to ensure their safety and support therapeutic goals. Working under the direction of a registered nurse, the role reports behavioral or clinical changes, documents patient status, and assists with basic patient care and comfort measures as needed. The position supports patient- and family-centered care while maintaining a safe environment and facilitating communication with the interdisciplinary care team.
