Safety Specialist

The Safety Specialist at Cascadia Health ensures the safety and security of clients, staff, and facilities by monitoring for risks, responding to incidents, and maintaining a calm, approachable presence. Operating as an unarmed security guard, the role involves conducting safety checks, de-escalating tense situations using trauma-informed practices, and collaborating with clinical staff to address potential risks. The position requires floating across multiple health centers in the Portland Metro Area and maintaining a current DPSST Unarmed Safety Professional certification.
