About this role

As a Sales Engineer for Plaid Europe, you will serve as the technical lead across the region's sales team, partnering with Account Executives to guide prospects from initial technical conversations through proof of concept to contract signature. You will run technical discovery, design tailored solutions, and demonstrate Plaid's products to both engineers and commercial buyers to ensure long-term success on the platform. The role also involves building the Sales Engineering function in Europe and translating customer feedback into product insights.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical lead on active opportunities across Startup, Mid-Market, and Enterprise accounts
Run technical discovery and map customer requirements to Plaid’s products and integration patterns
Deliver tailored demonstrations and own proof-of-concept engagements including hands-on debugging
