SAP FI/CO Architect

CRH Americas Materials is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Architect to support the Record to Report (R2R) process landscape, with a primary focus on Finance (FI)/Banking and a working knowledge of Controlling (CO) and Financial Reporting. The ideal candidate is a hands-on functional expert who can design, configure, and support core FI processes including accounts payable, month-end close, asset accounting, banking, and cash application, while also understanding how FI integrates with Controlling processes such as product costing, inventory valuation, Material Ledger, and CO-PA. The candidate should bring hands-on experience integrating SAP FI with upstream and downstream modules (MM, SD) and with external banking and tax systems. This is a business-facing, hands-on role: the successful candidate will work directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions, participate in design workshops, and support configuration and testing across the record-to-report value chain. This role partners closely with the SAP Manager – R2R and senior functional leads, contributing hands-on design and configuration expertise rather than people-management responsibilities, while helping ensure an accurate, well-controlled, and continuously improving financial close and reporting process.
