About this role

The Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Watch Officer provides 24/7/365 operational support to the Defense Information Systems Agency Joint Operations Center, monitoring and controlling SATCOM and Teleport equipment. The role involves managing network configurations, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with various agencies to ensure seamless satellite communications. This mission-essential position requires supporting rotating shifts and responding to contingencies to maintain critical defense communications.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control SATCOM and Teleport equipment
Provide Tier I/II support to Teleport and SATCOM users
Coordinate with DISA and other agencies for network support
