Scale Operator

The Scale Operator is responsible for accurately and efficiently monitoring and recording waste volumes entering the post collection site, as well as collecting appropriate usage fees from customers. This role involves determining the content of materials to properly bill customers, accepting or rejecting waste loads based on content, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within the work area. The position requires balancing daily receipts, documenting waste using truck scales and computer systems, and providing general information to callers.
