Scheduler - Outpatient Services

The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling patient testing, procedures, and admissions while ensuring accurate patient and insurance information is obtained and entered into the scheduling or registration system. This role also obtains pre-certification or authorization numbers as required and serves as a point of contact for incoming phone calls related to scheduling services. The PRN Scheduler will be obtaining authorizations for Outpatient Services and will also train with Imaging Scheduling team as well as Surgical team.
