About this role

The School Based Navigator serves as a critical liaison between schools, families, and Centerstone to facilitate access to behavioral health services for students. This role manages intake processes, verifies insurance eligibility, coordinates service entry, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards while supporting program operations.

Responsibilities

Process student referrals and initiate family contact within three business days
Support families with Medicaid eligibility screening and private insurance verification
Coordinate intake appointments with school-based therapists or appropriate access points
Ensure accurate completion and electronic filing of all intake and compliance documentation
Partner with schools and community agencies to connect families with support services

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related human services fieldFour years of relevant experience (in lieu of degree)
