A Part Time School Bus Driver position at First Student is an entry-level, community-oriented role based in Rockford, IL within a large national school transportation company. First Student provides paid CDL training, sign-on and Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) bonuses, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision and 401(k). The role targets candidates from a variety of backgrounds — including those without a high school diploma, veterans, retirees, and individuals returning to the workforce. Work is scheduled as a guaranteed 6-hour split shift on school days.
