School Counsellor

The School Counsellor at GESS provides social, emotional, behavioural, and academic counselling support to students in the European Section while also serving the wider school community as needed. The role focuses on preventative and responsive interventions, safeguarding, and the promotion of student wellbeing through individual and group work. The counsellor collaborates closely with academic leaders, wellbeing teams, and external agencies to design and implement evidence-based programs that enhance the social-emotional health of students, staff, and families. The position also contributes to policy development, crisis management, and ongoing improvement of the school’s wellbeing framework.
