The School General Counsel provides legal counsel and support to the Superintendent, Human Resources, and district administration, ensuring compliance with district policies, state and federal laws, and managing legal risk. This role focuses on protecting the best interests of students and the district across operations, employment, labor relations, public records, and student matters. The position represents the district in legal proceedings and collaborates with outside counsel as needed.
