About this role
A science reporting intern at The Transmitter joins the award-winning newsroom in New York City for summer 2026 to cover the fast-moving field of neuroscience and produce journalism for a scientific audience. This paid, editorially independent internship (funded by the Simons Foundation) runs June 1–August 14, 2026, requires a 32-hour minimum workweek, and is based onsite at the Simons Foundation offices.
