Cyber Valley is Europe’s largest research consortium in artificial intelligence, uniting academic institutions, industry partners, government, and foundations to bridge curiosity-driven basic research with applied development. Based in the Stuttgart–Tübingen region, it focuses on machine learning, robotics, and computer vision and continuously adds multidisciplinary initiatives to drive innovation. Founding partners include the state of Baden‑Württemberg, the Max Planck Society (Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems), the Universities of Stuttgart and Tübingen, and major companies such as Amazon, BMW, Daimler, Porsche, Bosch, ZF and IAV, with Fraunhofer and several foundations also supporting the initiative. Cyber Valley fosters collaboration, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship to strengthen the region as a European hotspot for AI research and commercialization.
