About this role
The Scientist will lead the design, development, and validation of in vitro cellular assays to evaluate exosome- and nanoparticle-based delivery of diverse therapeutic payloads for rare diseases. This lab-based role focuses on mechanistic and functional characterization of drug delivery, therapeutic activity, and safety using advanced cell and molecular biology platforms. The position works closely with molecular biology, cell biology, bioanalytics, and translational research teams to support Capricor’s cell and exosome therapy pipeline. The role is based at Capricor’s San Diego research facilities in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
